Communications Coordinator

Role Profile

Based in Toronto and reporting to the CEO the incumbent is responsible for the coordination and execution of all marketing, branding, and advertising plans on behalf the organization.

On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with the CEO, internal sales & operations teams, as well as external partners responsible for the development of marketing, branding, and advertising strategies, plans, and programs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create, copyedit, and schedule product, event, or content email marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and update retail partner email database lists for e-blast distribution

  • Assist with social media content creation, management and engagement

  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Maintain updated marketing calendar and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing
    basis by analyzing key metrics

  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
  • Tracking of all marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing

  • Prepare monthly marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing and
    sales data

  • Plan training sessions, conferences, PR and grassroot events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and assisting with on-site activation

  • Maintain promotional materials inventory

Your Experience Profile

  • 2-5 years progressive work experience in marketing with a broad range of functional
    marketing exposure
  • Experience working in a growing, sales driven environment
  • Previous experience working in (exposure to) the consumer goods, hospitality, or cosmetics
    industries is preferred
  • B2B as well as B2C experience is ideal

  • Highly customer focused with a solution driven mindset
  • Self starter with a down to earth and flexible work style
  • Collaborative while being able to work independently in order to move projects forward,
    prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent copywriting skills
  • Highly organized with proven project management skills
  • Technology savvy with experience using graphic design and email marketing software (i.e.
    MailChimp, Canva, Adobe Illustrator)
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices including social,
    digital, and email marketing

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field
